|Track and Field Clinic offered for youth at two locations beginning June 20|
The program is called Track and Field Practice & Track Clinic and is for boys and girls who will be in grades one through eight in the fall. Participants will receive instruction during this week-long program from area high school track coaches. The program will include group and individual instruction, skill and technique development, conditioning, and the opportunity to compete in intrasquad competition. The program is a five-day clinic which consists of practices on Monday through Thursday and a track meet on Friday. The track and field clinic will take place from June 20-24 at two locations: Olathe East High School, 14545 W. 127th St., Olathe, and Blue Valley High School, 6001 W. 159th, Stilwell;. The program begins at 9 a.m. daily at both locations. The cost for five two-hour sessions is $69 per person for Johnson County residents or $75 for nonresidents.
