|New Enchanted Forest event planned at Ernie Miller Park on May 14|
Enchanted Forest is the name of this program, which is for ages six and older with children accompanied by a parent or guardian. Come discover the hidden world of the wee folk and their friends - birds returning from migration and animals waking from hibernation. The May apples will be in bloom and you can see for yourself if the old tales that fairies gather where the woodland wildflowers grow are true. Participants can play a game of animal peek-a-boo, design and build fairy houses in the forest, and enjoy a picnic with cookies sprinkled with fairy dust sand elf nectar. Wear your wings and make a wand and take part in the fairy parade. Guests can visit activity stations at their leisure and hear the Fairy Queen tell stories of magic and mischief. Live animals, music, and a trip through the Wish Tree are also planned. Reservations are required and in case of inclement weather, this program will be held indoors. Perform a catalog search for the keywords "enchanted forest" to find this program in the JCPRD's Activities Catalog and online listings.
