|Two youth basketball clinics begin Feb. 20|
The Pro-Style Basketball Clinic is for boys and girls ages eight through 10 and is for players with at least two years of experience. Fundamentals will be covered, with a focus on dribbling, passing, defense, and shooting. Participants will improve on their own skills as well as learn life lessons that come with learning a sport. This program will take place starting at 5 p.m. on Sundays beginning Feb. 20. The for six 60-minute sessions is $90 per person for Johnson County residents or $99 for nonresidents.
The All-Star Basketball Clinic is for boys and girls ages 11 through 14 with at least four years of basketball experience. Fundamentals will be covered, but the focus will be on developing individual skills for the next level fo the game. Players will work on their own skills as well as learn about team play on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. Participants will play some 5-on-5 controlled games. This program will take place starting at 6 p.m. on Sundays, also beginning Feb. 20. The for six 90-minute sessions is $150 per person for Johnson County residents or $165 for nonresidents.
