|Chef 101 program offered for young cooks beginning Jan. 15|
The program is called Chef 101 and will cover the basics of reading recipes, measuring ingredients, setting your oven, and more. Perform a catalog search for the keyword “cooking” to find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities Catalog and online listings.
This program will take place beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday starting Jan. 15 at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood, Roeland Park. The cost for two 90-minute sessions is $34 for Johnson County residents or $37 per child and adult for nonresidents.
A chef 102 class covering more cooking and baking techniques will take place beginning Feb. 5. The cost, time, and location will be the same as above.
