|New Journey with the Dinosaurs Day Trip for Youth is Oct. 15|
The program is called Journey with the Dinosaurs and is for youth in grades one and up with a signed permission form. The day will start at 10 a.m. at Antioch Park, 6501 Antioch, Merriam, with a Mad Science® Dinosaur Party. Participants should bring a drink and sack lunch, which they'll eat before riding the van to Union Station's Science City to visit the Dinosaurs Unearthed Exhibit, including the Dinosaurs Alive! 3-D movie on the Extreme Screen. This exhibit features 24 full-sized animatronic models and a 62-foot-long dinosaur skeleton. Following the exhibit, participants will spend the rest of the day at Science City before returning to Antioch Park. This program will take place beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15. The cost for this seven-hour program is $43 per person for Johnson County residents or $47 per person for nonresidents.
