The program is called Night Hike and is being offered on Oct. 1 and 15 at Ernie Miller Park, which is located at 909 North Kansas 7 Highway, Olathe. Both programs begin at 7 p.m. Participants will listen for nocturnal songs such as the cricket's chorus and the barred owl's call and then gather around a cheery fire for stories, songs, and a tasty treat. The cost for one 90-minute session is $6 per person for Johnson County residents or $7 per person for nonresidents. Preregistration is required.
