|50 Plus presents Murder Mystery Dinner on Dec. 13 at MCAC|
Prohibition, speakeasies, murder, and a mystery to solve provide the backdrop for a new special event being planned by the 50 Plus Department of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
The event is called the Roaring 20's Murder Mystery Dinner, "Murder at the Juice Joint." Participants will receive character descriptions and story history prior to the event, as well as a secret pass phrase they'll need in order to enter. A prize will be awarded to the sleuth of the night.
To find this programs in the JCPRD’s Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under 50 plus and then under special events. In the catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keyword “mystery.”
This Roaring 20's Murder Mystery Dinner will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, at the Mill Creek Activity Center, 6518 Vista Dr., Shawnee. The cost for this four-hour event is $26 per person and includes dinner.
While the JCPRD's 50 Plus programs are primarily for people who are age 50 or older, interested parties who have not yet reached that magic age may still be able to attend.
