|British Sports Camp offered for youth beginning July 19|
This program is for boys and girls ages six through 13. Challenger Sports' team of British coaches will provide participants with a week of nonstop action, fun, and competition, all with a British twist. Participants will enjoy tag, rugby, nonstop cricket, rounders, five-a-side football (or what's called soccer on this side of the pond), kick ball, British Bull Dogs, team relays and obstacle courses. The schedule includes no boring drills, just plenty of action, activity, and loads of fun. Along the way, participants will also learn about respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship, and leadership while playing hard and making new friends. This program will take place beginning July 19 on Field B. at Thomas S. Stoll Memorial Park, 12500 W. 119th St.. A session for ages six through nine will take place beginning at 8 .m., while a session for ages 10 through 13 will take place beginning at 11:30 a.m. The cost for five three-hour sessions is $120 per person for Johnson County residents or $132 per person for nonresidents.
