|Outdoor Adventures Camp offered for ages 11-13 during spring break, March 15-19|
Spring Outdoor Adventures Camp will give participants a chance to explore wild areas, find forgotten trails, and learn secrets of survival. Many of the activities will take place at the Timber Ridge Adventure Center, and will include fishing, zip-lining, and team-building exercises. The last day of camp will include a cook out. Comfortable clothing, a backpack containing a sack lunch and a water bottle are required. Programmed activities begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m. For the convenience of working parents, supervision will be provided from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. Children should bring a nutritious sack lunch, snacks, and a drink. Enrollment is limited to 20 campers. The cost for five 7-hour sessions is $130 per child for Johnson County Residents or $143 for nonresidents. Camp fees are nonrefundable.
