|Expectant and New Moms Wellness program begins Feb. 2|
The program is called Expectant and New Moms Wellness and is for ages 18 and older. Participants are invited to bring their newborns as they learn to lose weight by eating healthy and also about how they can influence the next 18 years of their baby's life. Doctor Monica Pierson of the Weight Management Medical Center in Overland Park will help participants learn safe ways to take off those pounds and to help prevent your child from having the struggles which come with being overweight or obese. Dr. Pierson will also answer questions about the first few months with a new baby, other children at home, and help for your whole household in staying on the journey to health and vitality. This program will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday beginning Feb. 2 at the Weight Management Medical Center, 6700 W. 121 St., Suite 103, Overland Park. The cost for four 60-minute sessions is $88 for Johnson County residents or $97 per person for nonresidents.
