Robotics class offered for ages 7-17 starting Jan. 23
POSTED: 12/30/2009

The program is called Robotics. Working in small teams, students will design robotics systems to compete in fun real-world activities. Each day will bring a new challenge and the teams will have to morph their robots to better adapt and complete. This program is perfect for students who have a big imagination and likes to build things. Perform a catalog search for the keyword “computers” to find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities Catalog and online listings.

This program will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday beginning Jan. 23 at the Blue Valley Recreation Center, 6545 W. 151st St., Stanley. The cost for two six-hour sessions is $160 per person for Johnson County residents or $176 per person for nonresidents. Participants should bring a sack lunch.

The JCPRD’s ACTIVITIES catalog, with information and a registration form, is available for pick-up at all Johnson County Library branches. For more information or to register, call (913) 831-3359. To register online and for updated program listings, see the District’s website at www.jcprd.com.
