|Expectant and New Moms Fitness program begins April 7|
The program is called Expectant and New Moms Fitness and is for ages 18 and older. Participants are invited to bring their newborns as they learn to lose weight by eating healthy and also about how they can influence the next 18 years of their baby's life. Doctor Monica Peterson, a pediatrician and bariatrician, will help participants sort through the confusion of portion control, fruits and veggies, whole grains, juices, TV time, and exercise. After four classes, moms will have an achievable weight loss goal including a personalized plan to support their health and that of their child.
