Beginning Basic Knitting class offered for adults starting Jan. 20

The program is called Beginning Basic Knitting and is for ages 18 and older. This program will cover basic stitches and finishing ideas. Participants should bring two number 15 needles to the first class and a ball of yarn to the second class. Search for the keyword "knitting" to find this program in the JCPRD's Activities Catalog and online listings.

This program will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday beginning Jan. 20 at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood, Roeland Park. The cost for three 90-minute sessions is $35 for Johnson County residents or $38 for nonresidents. Practice yarn can be purchased from the instructor at the first class for $3. Because class size is limited, preregistration is required.
