|Grillin’ and Chillin’ With the Grandkids program offered at Roeland Park 50 Plus on June 26|
Grandparents can have some summertime fun with their grandchildren during an intergenerational program being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District.
Now in its third year, the program is called Grillin’ and Chillin’ with the Grandkids and will begin with a morning full of indoor and outdoor games, including ping pong, Frisbee, shuffleboard, and more. Afterwards, participants will enjoy a grilled lunch with their choice of hamburgers or hotdogs and all the fixings that come with a picnic in summer. This is a great way to have some summertime fun with the grandkids. Search for the keyword "cookout" to find this program in the JCPRD's Activities Catalog and online listings.
This program will take place beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 26 at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood, Roeland Park. The cost is $6 per person (children under three are free) for one two and one-half hour session. Preregistration is required.
