|End of Summer Bingo Bash set for Sept. 12 at Town Village Leawood|
Don't dread the end of summer - celebrate it with an End of Summer Bingo Bash being planned in md-September by the 50 Plus Department of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District.
This event will take place beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, at Town Village Leawood, 4400 W. 115th St., Leawood. Participants will enjoy a delicious lunch of tasty sandwiches, crisp salads, and an array of desserts, accompanied by the sweet harmonies of a barbershop quartet, which will provide entertainment. Afterwards, there will be 12 games of summer-themed bingo with fantastic prizes.

While the JCPRD’s 50 Plus programs are primarily for people who are age 50 or older, interested parties who have not yet reached that magic age may still be able to attend. Persons 18 and older who are interested in a 50 Plus class are invited to call the District’s Registration Department at (913) 831-3359, and if space is available without forfeiting the place of a person over 50, their registration can be taken.
