|New Leaping Leprechauns program for ages 3-5 offered on March 14|
Children ages three to five can celebrate St. Patty's Day with a new class being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District called Leaping Leprechauns.
During this program, participants will learn an Irish jig, as well as a song from the "land of the leprechauns," make a shamrock to wear home, and have a treat. All supplies are included. Participants should wear something green. Search for the keywords "movement & art" to find this programs in the JCPRD's online listings.
This class is offered starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 14 at the Tomahawk Recreation Complex, 17501 Midland Drive, Shawnee. The cost for one 50-minute session is $12 per person for Johnson County residents or $13 per person for nonresidents.
