|Arthritis Program to Explore Alternative Treatments on Oct. 4|
Alternatives for relieving and preventing joint diseases will be presented during a program for adults being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District in early October.
This program is called simply Arthritis and for adults 18 and older. Dr. Wheeler of the State Line Chiropractic Center will present this educational discussion on the different types of arthritis, who is susceptible to them, their possible causes, and steps to relieve and prevent them. Conditions which will be touched upon include osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, and gout. This program will take place beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood, Roeland Park. The cost for one 90-minute session is $12 per person for Johnson County residents or $13 for nonresidents.
