|Women's Wellness Retreat Offered at TimberRidge on May 19|
Have you ever wanted to attend a health spa, but couldn't fit it into your schedule or budget. A program being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District at the TimberRidge Adventure Center in mid-May could be your answer.
Bring your friends for a fun day outdoors which promises the benefits of a health retreat. The program is for ages 18 and older and is called the Women's Wellness Retreat. This program will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 19. This peaceful day will begin with yoga and movement classes meant to help participants relax and reflect. During a guided hike on TimberRidge's trails, participants can enjoy spending time in nature as a powerful healing tool. A light, healthy lunch is included. Search for the keyword "women" to find this program in the JCPRD's Activities Catalog and online listings.
The cost for one six-hour session is $30 for Johnson County residents or $33 for nonresidents. Preregistration is required.
TimberRidge is located at 12300 South Homestead Lane, Olathe, accessible via an entrance which is separate from and south of the main entrance to Kill Creek Regional Park.
