JCPRD Aquatics offers
a wide variety of Water Safety classes for all ages and skill levels.
Programs are scheduled year round at several convenient locations
throughout the county including the Roeland
Park Aquatics Center. Learn to Swim classes range from Parent and Child to Skill proficiency. Progress through the various levels is based on skill rather than age. Private lessons are available for ages 5 and older. |
| Youth programs not only include Learn to Swim classes but also competitive swimming. The competitive program features nationally acclaimed coaching and is designed to prepare swimmers for all levels of competition including high school and summer leagues. Adult programs include a series of Professional Courses for Lifeguard and Instructor training and certification. Learn to Swim classes are also available for adults and teens who would like to improve their water abilities. 50 Plus classes provide active seniors a healthy assortment of water exercise programs. Adults of all ages are welcome to take advantage of the flexibility, strength and cardio benefits these classes offer. |
